Working in close collaboration with the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), the visiting team from Manam Applications (Israel) and the team from AviSight (Las Vegas) completed a demo of their UAS based bridge inspection technology at the Tillman Bridge at Hoover Dam, during the week of January 4, 2021. Work on developing the new technology began in October 2018 with a grant approved by the Israel-US BIRD Foundation. NIC Co-Founder Michael Saltman was present to observe the successful progress of the Manam – AviSight R&D collaboration and to continue discussion of next steps to commercialization of the new technology.
