A critical constraint to the ability of Israeli companies (in particular start-ups and early stage ventures) to make sustained commercial breakthroughs in the U.S. market is their “Absence of Presence.” However impressive the technology, U.S. clients can be wary of engaging not just with smaller companies but those who do not have a regular local presence.
